room "Dolomites"

Dear Guests,

When I was asked by the Pescosta family to design a room in an artistic way, I agreed without hesitation. Now you live these my thoughts turned into reality.
I wanted to furnish this room in a minimalistic way, however, at the same time I aimed at establishing a relationship to our natural environment. Therefore the floor and the furniture are made of larch boards. The floor planks have been laid as to find continuation in the bedstead, in the panelling and in the wardrobe. Above the bed I have placed the "Langkofelgruppe", carved from its southern side. Under the glass floor in the bathroom there are Dolomite stones collected at the Sella massif. The walls of the bathroom are not tiled but rendered with "Tadelakt", a special waterproof lime of Moroccan origin.
With this information about the room I wish you a pleasant stay. I hope that this room makes you aware of the beauty of our natural environment.
